🎬 Film Poster (Tyler Durden) Meme Generator
Your favourite film from 2004 is getting a sequel. Nobody asked for it, the trailer is a slow piano cover of the original theme, and by Friday you've already booked the cinema tickets.
Someone in the pub says the director's cut is "the real version". It is four hours long, adds a subplot about a lighthouse, and loses the one scene everybody quotes. You nod and say it's better.
A streaming service announces a reboot of the show you loved at fourteen. You say it's unnecessary. You watch every episode in a weekend and then write a long paragraph in the group chat about how they've ruined it.
Your mate starts a sentence with "so there's a rumour" and ends it with a title that sounds like a joke. You check. It is real, it has a release date, and it has a budget.
Why it caught on: the still shows Tyler Durden, the anarchic character at the heart of *Fight Club*, David Fincher's 1999 film based on Chuck Palahniuk's 1996 novel. People use it as a blank film poster for imaginary follow-ups, with a made-up title or a mock "director's cut" credit. It spread because every fan base is waiting for a sequel, a reboot or a cut that fixes everything, and a fake poster is faster than waiting for the real one.
